Our approach to scale the impact is through nurturing small innovation and invest in behaviour change from bottom up for the greener future. We are determined to bring about the change through small reforms, aiming to shift at the structural level, how we produce, consume and recycle in the future.

The Campaign #BornCapable which brought together several ordinary stories of self belief, confirmed that the resilience of each individual stems from their internal resources.
Sateek builds on this philosophy that creating assets (economic, social and environmental) at small scale, reduces distress, and in the process, empowers people with much needed agency to seek justice for themselves and for others.

Deepti Ameta
Founder
Nivedhitha L.
Deepti is a seasoned social impact leader with deep experience in addressing multi-dimensional poverty in India. She has spent over two decades solving issues in gender justice, inequalities and ecology through a variety of approaches, including rights-based, issue-based, justice-based, market-based, system's thinking and action oriented solutions. Deepti brings with her solid experiential expertise in programme and organization development, social impact investing, MEL and communications. She understands the nuances of community mobilization as well as the challenges of mobilizing and deploying catalytic capital and philanthropic investments. She brings this mastery into Sateek for creating solutions in designing and implementing impactful projects on ground rooted in robust evidence, processes and storytelling. Deepti holds three Masters Degrees - MA in Globalization & Development from IDS, University of Sussex. She also holds an MBA in Marketing and an MA in English Literature. She is a Chevening Scholar and also a European Union Visitor Programme Fellow.
