Week two or three? Defensiveness shows up.

You know the hardest change is 'shifting our own behavior'. And that's why people wish to change someone else. Because working on self is the hardest, most uncomfortable piece of work. These internal resistances are completely out of our sight. We only have the language and a brilliant intellectual explanation of anything and everything we don't want to do. Its in my coaching sessions, I see when people are able to see themselves, they are able to recognize that the resistance is within.

Once a client said: “I was becoming quite defensive about everything. Trying to clarify the situation. I felt my workplace was disturbing.”

That’s not failure. That’s the old self fighting to stay in control.

Another admitted: “The point of acceptance of guilt, how I may be in my own way, this came out of the key points in our session today.”

Accepting that you are standing in your own way? That’s the hardest kind of honesty. It doesn’t happen in week one.

But when it does, when you stop blaming the world and start looking within, something shifts. You stop reacting. At least you begin to understand. And then, you start responding.

Part 3 in next few days - till then book your free introductory call if you are considering to realize your full potential.
